The Senior Web Design Team Leader will lead and manage creative work flow of all web and digital media design/development for Australia's most popular brands.
The role will encompass design and technical leadership over a highly capable web design/development team, perfect for someone who is very creative and dynamic in nature.
The ability through proven experience of managing expectations of high level executive stakeholders is a must for this role.
**Previous similar experience in the Australian Retail Fashion Industry will be highly advantageous**
Key responsibilities:
Responding to executive Management and Business Marketing units
Leadership and management of web designers
Designing and maintaining web sites for the various brands
Maintaining high quality creative online content and functions
Designing new sites and functionality in response to Brand requirements and seasonal trends
Building & Designing Electronic Direct Marketing
Managing Social Media
To be successful:
5+ years of experience
Management, Leadership or team lead experience
Degree qualified
Sound technical skills and comprehensive knowledge of HTML, JavaScript and CSS .
Experience in web-based programs such as Dreamweaver, Photoshop and Flash
Knowledge of advanced web design concepts, HTML5, CSS3, Web 2.0, Web fonts, Progressive enhancement, Regular expression, Ajax, JavaScript Libraries (jQuery, Dojo etc), Version control, Content Management systems, Web Analytics, SEO
Knowledge of backend languages (ASP, JSP), Database languages (SQL) or Action script a bonus
Sound knowledge of Social Media
Knowledge of the mobile web, Apps and techniques to build web pages for mobile devices
Understanding of website concepts Usability, Accessibility, Information Architecture and User testing
