With increased demand for copper, gold, and iron ore, this company is one of the few global organisations that can provide large-scale engineering, procurement, construction, and maintenance services in difficult locations as well as WA. They are recognised as industry leaders in critical areas such as materials handling, comminution, mineral processing, hydrometallurgy, pyrometallurgy, and waste treatment and they are currently looking for a Senior Mechanical Project Engineer to work on a large-scale African-based copper project. Being executed from Perth, the project is being completed on behalf of one of the major minerals miners globally as a consequence of a large CAPEX investment. You'll be experienced in Project Engineering for the mining industry, around eight years, and have a good background in EPCM consultancies. Your previous work will have included engineering for base and precious metals where you've been responsible for schedule, budget, liaison, reporting and delivery. You'll be a good communicator and be used to managing budgets of up to $100m. Rates for this position is negotiable depending on experience and will range between $100 - $110 per hour. Working alongside the team of Mobile Plant Fitters, you will be required to assist with the servicing, repair and maintenance of the fleet of mobile equipment on a day to day basis.
