Must have current HR Licence and good driving history Permanent Position Tuesday to Saturday Day Shift HR Driver Our client is located in the eastern suburbs of Brisbane and is looking for HR delivery drivers to facilitate their busy cold stores business. Specifics of the role and day to day duties: At the start of each day collect all paperwork for daily deliveries. This includes run sheet(s), extra order summary sheets and invoices for every drop Read and understand the contents of the Drivers Manual Deliver products to customers as per invoice requirements in a timely and effective manner. Check vehicles daily as outlined in the Drivers Manual and ensure the vehicle is fuelled at the completion of each shift. Adhere to vehicle maintenance policy Check off all items at the customer premises, record any adjustments and ensure customer signs off on delivery invoice. Comply with company HACCP requirements ensuring all goods are delivered into the correct temperature environments Ensure temperature checks are conducted as required under HACCP regulations on a daily basis. Obtain and assume responsibility for payment from customers. At the end of the day monies collected should be balanced against invoices and check and signed off by authorised person. Build and maintain customer relationships and undertake all duties in a safe responsible and courteous manner Practice safe and correct manual handling and understand OH&S requirements including injury prevention, treatment and rehabilitation Communicate with the Managers regarding any customer problems Follow established procedures for conflict resolution and grievances - do not become involved - relay all incidents/issues to Manager Undertake relief driving duties for a period of time as required, to cover another employee's absence from the workplace. This may require you to work a different shift, on minimal notice, that begins substantially earlier or later than your regular rostered shift Wear clean uniform as provided; be neat and tidy in appearance Report all problems with equipment or fittings. Ensure damaged/returned stock is transferred to the appropriate area and recorded on the appropriate documentation Maintain a neat and tidy appearance ensuring your (company provided) uniform is kept clean and presentable. Assist in stock takes when required Delivery Driver Job Specific Tasks: Frequency of lifts in the course of a typical 8-10 hour day ranges between 100 and 500 lifts per day Average daily weight required to be lifted ranges between 10g and 25kg (Approximate weight of average customer order is 8kg) Average number of deliveries around Brisbane per day varies between 10 to 30 Frequency of getting in and out of the truck per day ranges between 30 to 80 times Knowledge, skills and qualities: MUST hold a valid HR Driver's License as required for vehicle size with a good driving history. We are currently seeking experienced dump truck operators for several positions available at an open cut mine in the NT. This role will see you using your solid skills operating CAT 777 dump trucks. A 2/1 roster is on offer FIFO ex Darwin or Cairns. While on site you will be provided with meals & accommodation and PPE. This is a temporary role over the dry season and is expected to last 4 to 6 months. To be successful you will need: Proven experience in dump truck operation particularly CAT 777 & above A current HR licence Commitment to ensuring a safe work environment Previous mine site or heavy earthworking experience Excellent communication skills Ability to pass a pre employment medical including drug & alcohol screen Please note simulator trainees will not be considered as experienced operators.
