This well respected industry leader who is based on St Kilda road is looking for an experienced payroll person with in-depth knowledge of payroll systems and will be able to audit the existing payroll process and ensure the internal controls are strong and up-to-date with recent developments. The current system in place is Pay Global. but you will not need to know this system as you are only reviewing their policies.  80% of their expense is in their payroll department.  This is a two week assignment paying $35 per hour plus superannuation. Reporting to the finance manager your duties will include: Reviewing documentation on payroll procedures Reviewing processes surrounding time sheet capture, data input and verification processes Reviewing, assessing and testing payroll approval processes, including authorisation processes for adding new employees, ensuring terms and conditions are correct and changing details for existing employees Reviewing source documentation Confirming existence of employees Reviewing payroll reconciliations The successful candidate will have a deep understanding and at least 4+ years experience within a payroll environment.
