With increased demand for copper, gold, and iron ore, this company is one of the few global organisations that can provide large-scale engineering, procurement, construction, and maintenance services in difficult locations as well as WA. They are recognised as industry leaders in critical areas such as materials handling, comminution, mineral processing, hydrometallurgy, pyrometallurgy, and waste treatment and they are currently looking for a Senior Mechanical Project Engineer to work on a large-scale African-based copper project. Being executed from Perth, the project is being completed on behalf of one of the major minerals miners globally as a consequence of a large CAPEX investment. You'll be experienced in Project Engineering for the mining industry, around eight years, and have a good background in EPCM consultancies. Your previous work will have included engineering for base and precious metals where you've been responsible for schedule, budget, liaison, reporting and delivery. You'll be a good communicator and be used to managing budgets of up to $100m. Rates for this position is negotiable depending on experience and will range between $100 - $110 per hour. Working alongside the team of Mobile Plant Fitters, you will be required to assist with the servicing, repair and maintenance of the fleet of mobile equipment on a day to day basis. Build the training department 9/5 roster 3-6 month contract Exceptional hourly rate This is a 3-6 month opportunity for an experienced trainer with exposure to desalination process, water treatment plants or similar environments. This well recognised mining client is currently working on one of the biggest mining and processing projects in WA. This iron ore produced is currently expanding their operations and is currently recruiting for an experienced trainer who is familiar with processing plants in the mining industry. In your role as the technical trainer, you will have a strong involvement with the development and implementation or training procedures across the desalination plant. You will work closing with the operator and will train and assess their abilities as operators. You will provide support and advice to the Desalination manager and team. You will directly report to the Training Superintendent and work within the team of training across the entire operation. You will hold a minimum of a cert IV in training and assessing and have experience training in a similar environment within the mining industry. You will have a strong knowledge of HSE systems and legislation and ideally be familiar with pumps, reverse osmosis, floatation or even water treatment.
